The BIOSEM project
Resources for teaching bioethics in high schools
The BIOSEM project highlights the importance of integrating education in the field of environmental bioethics into secondary school curriculums. The goal of the project is mainly in the support of secondary school teachers and the preparation of curriculum for students. Seven topics have been identified as key areas, those being Globalisation and Bioethics, Climate Change, Human Development, Ecosystem Health and Water Resources, Science and Technology, Animal living, and Minimalist living. A diverse partner network is bringing together academics, high school teachers, and partners from NGOs. The University of Ljubljana serves as the coordinator.
