This activity appeals to a simple act of kindness that can help a person feel empowered to stand up to bullying. How to use it. Print out the positive words and ask students to take one or two each and pass them to their classmates. They can choose to make up their own positive words or statements, so that there are some blanks. Make sure everyone gets one of these words. Use the experience as a discussion point in class, finding out how they felt, what it would mean to someone who suffers from bullying to feel the kindness of others, etc. The words can also be displayed in the classroom as a reminder of the kindness choice.
