High school students from Ljubljana (Slovenia)

I am a teacher of high school students at St. Stanislav’s Institution in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
47 of them participated in a lesson about globalisation and fair traide.
Here are some of students’ most interesting posts about this lesson and subject:
    – It would be fair that poor people would get more.
    – I think it is necessary to realize that we play a big role in this retail chain. With our purchases, we support various companies that treat their workers unfairly.
    – We were talking about bananas and sales.
    – Interesting, I agree that we shiuld change this.
    – I think the trade should really turn towards better conditions and wages for the workers.
    – It seems to me that workers should have better conditions. This does not mean a much higher salary, but only a salary high enough for a normal life and a healthy working environment without exploitation.
    – Interesting and eye opening.
    – I think plantation workers are underappreciated and underpaid. People should be more aware about plantation work.
    – Interesting solutions to problems.
    – This topic is interesting and we should talk more about it.
    – With globalisation of markets, first and weaker chain links get smaller profit, which is not fair.
    – I think this topic is very important, because we need to stand up for justice.

As a teacher at St. Stanislav’s Institution in Ljubljana (in Slovenia) I gathered responses of students on my teaching about Medical Tourism. From 17 responses, these are the most interesting:
    – I think it is very important that we can also express our opinion in this way, often this is not possible at school!
    – Medical tourism is more and more common nowadays. It has both a good/positive side (operations that save life,…) and a more negative/bad side (anastasia,…).
    – I agree with going abroad for treatment if it is not possible in the country where you live, but I do not agree with artificial insemination and the like.
    – Interesting and current.
    – It is an interesting topic that we could talk about for hours.
    – Great topic, because I think that many people do not know what medical tourism is and what is possible in today’s world in the field of medicine.
    – One is medical and economic globalisation, and the other is cultural globalization unde the leadership of the Soros agenda, which will destroy the entire European civilization, destroy our entire society and its fundamental values.
